He put put out guides and offered a turnkey service for people who wanted something simple, and he has (or had) a pinned post about fediverse being strongest when distributed. I think owning the equipment is a part of his costs. Small stuff is much cheaper to run than big stuff, since economy of scale doesn't work the same way from cloud computing and such. I used to have a site hosted for like $50 a year, and the bandwidth required was small but "unlimited". Once you get bigger, that cost doesn't scale linearly. Also Poast isn't 100 people. I think it's several thousand active per month. Not sure on specifics though. -

Phenotypic r/k expression is a real thing. There are many ways to solve the reproductive imbalance it potentially creates that don't involve defense of child brides. To name a few (not even supporting all of these, but it's top of my head): stop dysgenic social policies, stop incentivizing broken homes, sterility treatments for people with too many kids and criminality, deportation, segregation, actual enforcement of law as written rather than anarchotyranny, etc.

There is value in an educated or at least intelligent woman raising and educating your children. It's not as if a woman is suddenly infertile when she turns 20, hell even 30. Being on birth control for a decade+ will likely hinder things for a lot of women though. -

I think there's more nuance than that. Genetic quality exists across every group, and a lot of the graincels have been slaughtered first over time, repeatedly, throughout history. I think pollution is going to cause a need to rethink or adapt this view.
