#FreedBSD is making me big sad. Tried to 'pkg install firefox' and it said no such package. Did a 'pkg search firefox', no such package. Went to ports and said 'make' in the firefox directory and it bombs after trying to build
firefox
wasi-libcxx
wasi-compiler-rt17
llvml7
llvml7
py-sphinx-markdown-tables
py-markdown
Because py39 markdown conflicts with py311markdown. Argh
@jik +1 to this. If you're white try making an account as a person of color. The hate pile on quite real.
As an engineer I recognize that countering that is extremely challenging without a central authority approving access to the network.
Subscribing to some sort of real-time blocking service for instance operators might help (its a spam mitigation technique in email)
That's an interesting take. Even without the inflammatory reference to 'blackface'. Do you always assume people you don't know are bad actors?
This whole thread is marvelous. It's about the "leftover" parts from SpaceX missions surviving reentry even though SpaceX had told NASA they would not. #space #spacejunk #hardware
Clearly a challenge to build stuff that is guaranteed to burn up when the initial conditions are hard to predict.

@jmorris Personally, I think that when you're using a PCB version of a breadboard it makes perfect sense to use them!
@briankrebs Ever return to places in your dreams? Like dream places? I tried to explain this to my wife but she does not do this at all.
Sometimes, in a dream, I'll be somewhere, that doesn't exist in reality but that I have been to before in previous dreams. Its weird remembering places you've been in dreams. I know it happens over multiple dreams because when I wake up I often can recall large chunks of my last dream. Different days, same place in my dream. Apparently that's very weird.
