My wife starts every morning over coffee telling me about her dreams the night before. I always try to listen quietly sipping my go juice, because they're usually stress-related dreams and debriefing them seems helps her shake that part of the day off and move on.
For my part, I only seem to remember the really good or really bad dreams. But they're mostly good, and one frequent theme is flying, which of course is an incredibly positive dream most times. The kind that sticks w/ you through the day and maybe the next few days. Like you're Iron Man or something.
But I don't always share these with my better half, because it's like I'm rubbing it in or something.
Over this morning's coffeine, as my wife was telling me about another stress dream related to an old job and old co-workers, I kept biting my tongue. I guess I was also smirking a little, because she stopped mid-story, put her mug down and said, "Okay, you suck. You had a flying dream again, didn't you?"
Well, since you asked....
