If someone's answer to your simple question in a technical topic is "it depends," there's a very good chance they actually know what they're talking about and you should listen very closely to whatever they're about to say next

I can't help but fear that the widespread use of VPNs to bypass bullshit regional anti-porn legislation and the upcoming TikTok ban will lead to regulators attempting to outlaw VPNs. We must not allow that to happen under any circumstances.

VPNs are an essential privacy and security tool that must not be criminalized.

The Internet is not something to be regulated based on arbitrary lines drawn on a map 200 years ago.

That's not how computer networks work.

I hate the stupid "draft me an email" 'use case' that Microsoft, Google, OpenAI etc keep parroting over and over again. Draft me an email about what, motherfucker? To whom? With what tone? What information do you want to convey? How do you want to sign it? If you provide all of this *necessary* information to the LLM, you already wrote the goddamn email. The fact that these companies keep highlighting the same 3 or 4 nonexistent use cases is proof that this is all useless garbage. Fucking christ

@jk On a separate note, I *wish* lynx and co. were viable options for anything beyond sifting through search results or wikipedia articles. I'd love to have a little box set up with no DE, but it just doesn't make any sense when the web exists in its current state.
