@killyourfm I installed Bazzite for the first time ever and it fixed resume from sleep and Xbox controller not working on SteamOS. That's my makeshift Steam Console. It even turns on On Xbox controller button press
@killyourfm it's a good reference point for sure. I never tried Bazzite, so I am not sure what is that OS running underneath and does it spend some VRAM before running the game.
I believe you smelled what I am doing here. I am trying to figure out if the usual suspects (high VRAM games) will fit into 8GB on Radeon + Steam OS + 1080p.
@killyourfm Thanks. I firmly believe that Valve never intended normies to TINKER with Steam settings, but simply click download and play. And default settings on my Steam Machine seem to be 1080p + OS level upscaling. Cyberpunk on ultra settings (no FSR in game) hovers around 4.5 GB of VRAM. I will need to purchase the ones you mentioned in order to test them.
@killyourfm I just saw what Veronica wrote. That's good advice to learn containers if you want everything in one box. But as I said my choice was to separate matrix from peertube from webserver from mail server...
@killyourfm I assume droplet is digital ocean slang for virtual machine. I am running Caddy reverse proxy on OPNsense firewall (nginx is too complex for me) which holds IPv4 public IP and does HTTPS and forwards requests to internal HTTP services. However mine are all on different VM, for "easier" maintenance. I could have just used Docker images on a single VM like you are proposing and it would be fine. You can also try LXC containers that can have different IP address.
