When I was ~14 I had a school 'careers' interview. 15mins with the 'careers' teacher (a maths teacher). I told him I wanted to be a photographer or an architect. He told me I should either join the army, or become an accountant. He said there was no money to be made in photography. At 27yrs old, 2 years into having my own studio, I bought my first Porsche 911 and was earning ~3X old friends who had chosen finance. (smug emoji)

I think personally, that the ultimate teacher challenge, would be to make Latin fun. Whoa! ( ~55yrs later, I can still feel the boredom. Luckily there was life going on outside the window.)

If you want children to learn, make it FUN! They will learn at a rate adults can only dream of.

(Problem: Adults with no imagination have to 'understand' how to make something FUN for children. Now there's a challenge).

Apart from which, she'd have perhaps been an exceptionally good president. I think the first thing is, unlike 99.9% of republicans, she has moral integrity. A mix of her with Warren sorting out the corruption would have been extraordinary. (I say this as a distant Scotsman)

There's a reason there's Londongrad.

UK is probably one of the most corrupt countries in the western world. This came to the fore around brexit. There's so much corruption lingering on of 'jolly fine chaps' doing what 'jolly fine chaps' do, i.e. have a word with a friend, or a friend of a friend and whoopee, more cash. Think Greensill. If it were in e.g. France, Cameron would be in jail. Instead, he's been made a Lord.

Fuel and grocery prices are down to Ukraine war. Rent is down to shitty people taking advantage of rising prices.

2022 = hottest year on record in France, with drought + heatwave, resulting in widespread forest fires.

200 days after the fires ended, in some places... they are still burning ... in the soil. The drought continues.
