     There will be a place for all that nuance in the future, however distant or even fantastic that future seems now. Putin has to be completely defeated and there will have to be Nuremberg like trials for the chief architects of the war and all the domestic murders. Russia might have to break up into component states. It might even take a generation or more. But that knowledge and effort were not wasted-- or if for now they are wasted, they are wasted by Putin, not by you.
