    I rescued two kittens on separate occasions from the yard next to my building. The first was emaciated, almost dead, but I nursed her back to health. The second one was 25 feet up a tree. Nearly broke my neck climbing up there to rescue him.

    I lived in a building where someone would have loud orgasms, moaning "LOVE ME! LOVE ME!" at the top of their lungs. The voice was guttural, couldn't even figure out if it was a man or a woman. If they don't mind that the whole building knows they're doing the no-no cha-cha, I don't mind either.

    Months later there was a neighborhood party. I went out to 7-Eleven and my neighbor's door was open. This pretty blond girl with an odd accent asked me if they were disturbing me and I said no. So we started chatting and she asked my name. I told her and she repeated it back to me wrong, so I restated it. Again she echoed back the wrong name but I noticed she was staring at my mouth.

    Then it dawned on me. She's deaf. That explained the odd accent. The loud "LOVE ME" moans were because she had no idea the whole neighborhood could hear her.
