    I remember ages ago when Cracked was readable, someone did an article about what they didn't name, but was obviously, leftist behavior.
    The line was something like imagine a business that you don't like, and you break the windows of so nobody else can use it. He went on to basically explain it as a heckler's veto at the societal level and how we have to stop accepting that.
    That stuck with me in both directions. Negatively, you understand that the tantrums work. Positively, I learned that the tantrums work.

    And that's the story about how a 40 year old just goes around being a public nuisance and driving people away from thigs.

    The flip side of this story is, in the area I grew up, many of the towns no longer have a police force. You have to call the state police.

    In towns that DO have cops, you either get the overzealous guys who want to make it clear they're doing their job because it's either this, or $11 an hour at the warehouse. Or my favorite, the guys who stopped giving a shit all together. The ones you can drag race at the right light because the lane ahead goes from 2 lanes to 1, and the partner in the passenger seat is mocking the driver because he got beat by an ancient Cavalier.

    I had the "luxury" today of getting $4.49 per pound on two.packs of ground beef, $0.33 refried beans, $0.75 eaxh on two cans of spaghetti-os, and $0.50 each for 6 cans of Kickstart.

    I'm pretty sure if I didn't have the expired but still good food emporium, I'd just kill and eat whatever PR was being annoying in the Walmart parking lot.
