    @d0c40r0 @sickburnbro I’d be fine with removing college requirements for most jobs and replacing them with IQ tests. I think the equity is the key word here. We know blacks and women perform more poorly in the pilots seat. I don’t care how automated flying is these days. I want white guys flying my plane.

    @yomiel @lina Yeah I agree. I actually think From games do pacing very well. Open world sort of undermines that although I think they did it better than most others too. Ultimately open world hurts replayability for me. I’ve only done 2 playthroughs of ER.

    @lina @yomiel I think the DLC’s give it its own character. The mainline game is full of references. It has peak boss design though. Really hits the right spot on difficulty for the endgame and dlc bosses.

    @yomiel @lina For the world lore yea. It’s more thematic. They gave a ton of fan service for the most popular DS1 characters (Havel/Orstein) + Gwyn’s lost son. They answered the Pygmy question too. I think it was a good close, but all the cool sub story details like Seathe, Velka, and the plot against Anor Londo are all still mostly unanswered.

    @yomiel @lina I don’t want to get into an autistic debate about this but this is an old take. Solaire’s comment is in reference to coop. The player being able to assist and get assistance from people in different timelines with respect to game progression. The timeline within DS’s story is normal. DS2 on the whole is a complete mess even within its own internal storyline. It is mostly not considered when looking at story as a whole. DS3 still leaves a lot of questions unanswered too though.
