Think perhaps i didn't choose the best distro, The fedora Atomix konite KDE/Plasma immutable release of Bazzite, it's somewhat annoying, but it's extra hard to break completely..

Used to be a big Gnome fan, but that proejct went sideways,. at least it was when i jumped ship for kde 15 years ago... i dunno,

When i was installing it had been debugging a windows fuckup for a week straight and just didn't have any more calm to debug with, "Inacessablwe boot device" Motherfucker! You're reading that message off the boot device you claim to not be able to access!!! There's nothing wrong with the drive! why won't you let me repair the registry? why is dism broken??? .. so just wanted to chill and play some games..

But somebody does need to make 'national survivors' kinda game, be like a little anthropomorphic representation of the nation collecting defenses and dodging migrants until you're strong enough to blow them away..

They're replacing as much of the GNU core utils with poorly tested and newly written Rust alternatives as they can.. at least thats my understanding of the situation..
