Trump continues to award Russia with benefits from oil profits by lifting sanctions, and declaring a War of Choice that deliberately shut down Hormuz raising the value of Russian petro exports. Russia is aiding its ally Iran, that's not in dispute. Someone is helping Iran kill US troops. When is Benedict Arnold Trump (and Steve, Jared, Pete, Marco, and JD) tried for Treason?

@benroyce Phillips broke down his door, broke his door, armed with AR15s looking for imaginary kidnap victims and drugs. Phillips deliberately disabled Afroman's house surveillance system as they rooted around his stuff and confiscated "evidence" without a crime, including $400 cash they denied they took. After he publicly accused them of stealing the $400, they said it was "miscounted" and returned it to him.
Phillips and the other cops should be publicly apologizing to Afroman, and personally paying for and installing a new door, and cleaning up the stuff they messed up. But they didn't. They just feel sorry for themselves that they were ridiculed for being arrogant, stupid, thieving bad cops. Next time, don't be shitty and stupid when you do wrong. Why aren't they publicly identifying and prosecuting whoever told them Aftoman was a kidnapper?

@mcnado The US Navy has nuclear attack submarines. Iran has three Russian made Kilo class diesel electric littoral subs (UKR recently sank one with a drone in that war.) The Russian kilo class is a stealth sub when running on batteries, but is no match for the US Virginia littoral class (we have 22-26). The rest of Iran's subs are midget class. US has 4x the Navy and while the US has nuke carriers, Iran has a frigate. However, Iran wants to sucker the Navy into Hormuz where they may have a tactical advantage with a littoral fleet and drones, and our ships may be slow moving ducks.

Downshift, even in automatic, if on ice, to the lowest level to slow down the engine without it starting to buckle and spin. Usually 2nd gear.

Try not to panic, you have a good chance to stay safe if you think your way clearly. I live in a high snow, icy, hilly, windy area prone to bad weather and power outages.

I've spun, slid, gone sideways down a snowy hill, shifted into second to get enough traction to steer toward a snow bank bouncing softly to slow down enough to pull back onto the right side of the road facing in the right direction before the oncoming line of traffic got to me. I could see the fear in the first driver's face. And I am not a brave driver.

Slow down. Slow down. Use your gears. Watch out for black ice.

Also in your car: shovel, blanket, water, power bars, head lamp, flash light, orange or red glowsticks or blinking lights for runners, solar lights with blinking sos feature, mirror for signaling, lighter, whistle, compass. Extra clothes, down hood, ski mask, wool. Boots and ice cleats if you have to walk. Hi-vis safety vest!!! Those chem heating packs for feet and hands. Make sure someone knows where you plan to go and when. It's easy for a car to slide off the road, disappear into snow in a snow storm.

Don't ever use work devices for personal communication. Don't ever assume any transaction using a work device is private. Don't document your own trashing of coworkers or bosses by messages. If you didn't buy, pay for coverage, connections, or pay for tech services, it's NOT yours and you have no rights or expectation of privacy.

California taxpayers should agree to do so only if Trump's federal government returns $82 Billion dollars of the $83 Billion dollars in excess taxes Californians pay to the feds but does not receive back. That's a fair deal.

This looks more like deliberate fraud, rather than an econ PhD student making an honest mistake because of the WSJ citation of how this fraud, in Jan 2025, was brought to the attention of the two MIT professors who championed the lie by a "...computer scientist with experience in materials science (who) questioned how the technology worked, and how a lab THAT HE WASN'T AWARE OF (caps added) had experienced gains in innovation".

Four years ago, you probably assumed the FBI Director would never have ordered the arrest of a sitting judge based on "belief" and not "evidence", the required legal standard not met in Patel's deleted tweet declaring "We believe Judge Dugan intentionally..."

It's a psychology that's bad for relationships of all kinds. There's never "good enough".

Everyone has spent time trying to figure out what he wants, as if the process has some tangible goal that satisfies him like winning something that matters. The process, the playing of the game itself, is what he lives for. It's the rush in the act of dominance he wants, but it's an escalating rush that can never ultimately satisfy.

It's why he makes no sense. Why he lies pathetically about winning even stupid meaningless stuff.
