GPT models I have access to have literally guessed wrong twice already what flat complex I'm living in, and it's actually known around the world, and we have yearly excursions of architecture students. The moment this starts to break, it's rather clear (and the rulings are here) that the USA, even in the "rule-of-law, democracy version", is not a safe state in the sense of the GDPR. You do have to close your eyes and do very fanciful interpretation to arrive at any other conclusion.

@dangillmor Dan you haven't noticed, US media (and big tech) are basically taking what they get from the White House, and run with it unfiltered.

And "allies" like European media, just copies like cheating students from US media the #Trump propaganda.

Personally, I'd recommend checking foreign sources (and yes, machine translation is fine for that), VPNs and see what the rest of the world sees.

Because US (and EU) media will be singing the glory of #trump .
