Shrug. Compared to systematic Google product corpses that are due to the corporate system they internally use (hint: launching a new product is if it's done correctly great for your internal career. Maintaining a product is a career deadend), that sounds almost harmless.

@RamenCatholic I remember the time when Samsung actually sold the "replacement/additional" batteries in a protective charging shell. So you could carry them in your pocket without getting dirt on the contact, or electrical shorts (which is a great way for entertainment with Li-Ion batteries), and charge them externally. And when your Samsung S5 (I think the S6 was the first one with the faulty fixed battery design) was at 0% you could charge it to 100% in less than 30 seconds.
