   @karlykingsley.bsky.social The 1936 Summer Olympics was held in Nazi Germany. However, by 2028 we'll be retreating from the siege of Toronto, post liberation of Greenland, and failing to repel the landings of the Allies on the east and west coast, so there probably won't be an Olympic Games that year.

     I don't want to point out that the USA observer for the USA IOC just commented to thee journalists about the Nazi laws that in his Chicago country club Jews are also banned. So what's the problem with the German laws?

     And went on to make a career in the IOC till the 1970s.

     The world is a surprising ugly place.

     @yacc143 @karlykingsley.bsky.social I'm simply suggesting that by 2028 the US will be too busy losing WWIII (or be fully engaged in some equivalent horror show) to host Olympic Games. As the Trump regime seems desperate to prove, the rules don't matter anymore.
