     @Steve There is some bubbling up, but it hasn't reached enough velocity yet. I fear (and have said repeatedly) that it is going to unfortunately take something cataclysmic before any real galvanizing momentum begins. I wish that weren't true, but fear it is

     The problem is, this time the hurt will be a war level disruption.

     MAGA was quite capable to tolerate some small pain if their "enemies" get much bigger portions of pain

     But this time it will hit many MAGA lemmings, even at livelihood destroying levels, and it's already visible after 1 month oligarch adminstration.

     And that means for the #GOP party soldiers, especially the ones who have to stand for election every two years, to scratch their heads, @WarnerCrocker

     @Steve @yacc143 Points well made. I think it depends on who is driving the bus. I don't think it's Trump or any elected officials. It's Thiel, Musk, and the 2025 gang. The first two may lack in the smarts category, they certainly lack when it comes to ethics and morality, but they are proven disrupters who love chaos. As for the 2025 gang there are some smart evil assholes involved there. I know this for a fact.

But I feel it wrong to ascribe any level of competence and planning to these people when they've shown over and over again that they're really not that bright. They are good at creating chaos and then exploiting it for personal gain - that doesn't take a genius, just a lack of ethics and morality.
