If nothing else, the toll of vandalism on a routine basis is sufficient reason to offload it.

I have cleaned the chrome radiator in the bathroom. Yea, even unto the dust in the corners. Even the ancient paint splashes removed.

It didn't address the asteroid problem or help Rwanda but it was within my control and it is progress.
