Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 64 Monday 01/01/24

TL:DR New Year , new me ! ; Masto Peeps are totally awesome ! Mega New Years Shoutout !

I slept like the proverbial dead last night & woke up around 8:30am , had a peaceful day finishing our Star Trek fest.

Had a chat with my dear friend CDP 🧚♀️ , who was definitely feeling the after effects of pulling a 24 hour New Years Eve stint - I have never met anyone with such determination & drive , she still wanted to get her steps in & achieve her daily goals ! Cynni you are an inspiration !

Seems that although I texted every member of my family at midnight this morning & wished them a Happy New Year , not a single one of them felt the need to actually talk to me today, although all but my Dad did text me back, so I guess I should be glad of small mercies !

My New Year’s resolutions tie in closely with my plans for the year:

1. Lose 120lbs - 55Kg of weight
2. Get back to a level of fitness that allows me to maintain the lower weight & still eat.
3. Fight the agoraphobia so I can get out of the house.
4. Improve my mental health so I can function better
5. Discard the detritus of the last 30 years & stop hoarding.
6. Stop drinking daily & limit my cake intake !

See easy , simple resolutions 😆

Final Thoughts:

A new year will hopefully result in a new me , or at least a healthier , happier me.
