Tonight im thinking about how lucky I am. I have a tiny van that has a bed, kitchen, sink, cooker, toilet cupboard, window covers, a mostly working heater, storage, an electric coolbox, & other comforts.
Theres a couple parked near me sleeping in a fiesta. Duvets. Front seats tilted back. No window covers to keep out the cold.
My husband sees them every few days. They're living in it & sleeping near where he sleeps.
We are well beyond a #HousingCrisis. Its a full blown emergency.

@fkamiah17 2 grand for somewhere she's not in. It's crazy isn't it. Both islands police by consent - that consent is stretched very thin & will be withdrawn soon I'd say. Theres more people than police & politicians.
I often think of that meme that crops up every once in a while about where someone got their big lands from, their forefathers fought for it, and the person next to them is saying "ok, we'll fight you for it".

I started my day #today in a mountain in Galway for a mountain biking event. I've seen enough lycra mashed testicles to last a lifetime ? All 4 dogs got to sniff new smells. We saw sheep, cows & horses & got drenched. Now I'm back in Cork for a Yellow weather warning for more rain. But!! Its pulled pork wraps for dinner in a bit & afterwards some cross-stitching while I listen to the rain beat on the roof of the van. Bliss ?

1: only socks would need changing every day instead of socks and underwear
2: its the furthest part from your nose
3: squeaky shoes wouldn't matter any more
4: you wouldn't have to get half undressed to go to the loo

4 is very important. Can you tell that I'm pissed that women haven't evolutioned better so we didn't have to half undress every time we need a pee ?

But I never wondered about buttholes ?

@Mrfunkedude #today wasnt so good. Found 1 of my dogs scooting last night (14 yr old) Investigated. Big lump. Ah yes, blocked anal glads is all? Called vet this morning. When the vet appointment rolled round, it had burst ? Poor little thing. Then she had to face man-handling by the vet. Antibiotics for 2 weeks. Sigh. Shes miserable & wants her bed, not even my cuddles help her. But i discovered a package outside my door. A self-heating bed/mat. The other 14 yr old claimed it.
