   I wonder how many people a year go into a plastic surgeons office asking for their belly button to be removed???

     @Mrfunkedude What we really need to do is look at that from the perspective of the 1960s. Like, was there a push for such surgery bc the production covered Jeannie's bellybutton up? Did it start a trend like the 2010's decade trend of the thigh gap?

     @Cbfoley What made me think about it was that my grandmother had hers removed as an infant due to an infection. Every now and then she'd show people to freak them out.

     @Mrfunkedude @Cbfoley It's basically an operation scar so it tends to get removed if one needs to be cut open near there, or so I've been told. I have no idea if that's true or not and it's not something I've ever heard of anyone having removed for cosmetic reasons.
