Fasting for blood tests has thrown my whole morning. Not because I am hungry, but because it messed up my morning routine of eat first, then do chores. Without the eating bit, I can't seem to latch on to what's next.

I get personally affronted that it is pouring rain today.

One of my favourite things about the kids being on their summer holidays is being able to drink my cup of coffee sitting up in bed with an audiobook or an actual book, and gently easing into the day, instead of the school morning race and rush.

Oops.

Have always failed at carrots but was still tempted to buy a tray of carrots I saw in a clearance box in a garden centre for 1 euro. Bought it and didn't bother separating the roots as I planted them, as I was so convinced that they would fail. But instead they grew, and as the roots were so entwined, they have grown very wonky.

All the same, they tasted glorious.

Today I have #COVID for the 3rd time.

First time ended up in hospital via ambulance.

Second time was only 6 month ago.

Had a booster Vaccine this June.

I am a magnet to this disease.

What is #Discord? And I do not mean the character in My little Pony. I keep seeing toots about Discord and suddenly feel like the #Autistic in the room (which could be because I am the Autistic in the room) failing to know what everyone else is talking about, while I smile and nod, but secretely feel a mild sense of outsider doom.
