i'm just seeing more cliquey bullshit here. nevermind how extremely fucked up it is to say TBS is carrying out a pogrom because it lists some people whose behaviour might suck. "i don't think that anymore" doesn't seem like enough of a retraction because you don't seem to care what a violent overstatement that is. is TBS breaking into peoples homes, murdering them, harrassing them for existing, burning down businesses, and causing general chaos and havoc, the way that Israel did to Palestinians for months before Oct 7? why not go all the way and compare TBS to the SS, for full absurdity.

this sounds like the kind of social climbing garbage i've come to really hate listening to. certain people are incapable of oppressive behaviour because they're "proven" (by who, for what, and how does that make them magically incapable of being a shithead?), "anti-racist" (this is a process, not a label one permanently applies to oneself for social kicks), or "opponents of nazis" (doesn't make one incapable of racism)? that's a whole bunch of violently cliquey bullshit designed to protect certain people from criticism because you've determined them to be magically infallible. fuck that noise entirely.

that's also an artifact of manufactured generational warfare. younger people are taught that older peoples' knowledge is worthless because it's old. that's not a natural occurance, in a world where honouring ancestors has been the norm for previous millenia.

as a person not involved with running ḟ-droid, you can kind of tell from the outside. fascist software like Husky and Fedilab is still available, despite it being known for years. i wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the unresolved issues.
