i don't ascribe it to a generation, because that's also a bunch of capitalist nonsense. instead, i ascribe it directly to capitalist bullshit, because it is. it's a product of "growth without end", when software develops beyond its original purpose and just becomes yet another vehicle to jam in more "clever" features that don't help anyone.

generational warfare is a tool of capitalists. its purpose is to make us fight each other instead of the capitalists.
