If you ever do it, I would recommend NOT federating, which only means that you don't get a stream of undesirable content on your instance, but people can subscribe to you, and you can follow other creators:)

@killyourfm What we really need to happen for #peertube is affordable hosted options, so they can be easier to set up and maintained by a community, much like #mastodon instances are becoming right now.

Or, if you prefer, treat a peertube instance like a personal space/website where users host their own content and simply federate with trusted instances to create hubs.
