@rlier23 @sickburnbro He's suggesting that the people selling cups of tea/coke aren't working a job as they're of similar strokes to things like the windshield washers you suggest. They're upcharging on things that the customer could reasonably turn around and buy from the places the seller was sourcing it from for a better deal.
He backtracked saying that putting Job in quotation marks was rude to street sellers who actually put in effort, like Mexican Fruit cup sellers, because it was being subtly implied to street venders as a whole instead of just the previously mentioned "jobs".

@sickburnbro Unrelated to this asshole's malicious intent. I always imagined living in one of those middle of nowhere truckstop towns on the side of the highway would be really cozy. They always seemed quaint when I passed through some of the ones on my yearly or so road trip home.

You may be two different people on two different instances but you are essentially the same people. @deprecated_ii @sickburnbro My favorite part about Government work is when someone well above my heads wants to justify their paycheck and decides to do it by reinventing the wheel on a program that already works. Change the name, marginally change it enough that we all get head aches down in the weeds of it all, and then they parade around as if they've saved the entire fucking planet.

Lockdown rules were stupid and counter productive, humans are social creatures in general and locking people in their own homes has and will continue to have horrible long lasting effects on people. Especially on younger ones where a year or two is a much more substantial portion of their lived life. We've all been socially and medically experimented on as an entire society and it will undoubtedly fast track the demise of our country, as unfortunate as it may be.

@kirby The funniest error I've encountered on a computer: when using the wrong print to pdf option on a signed PDF on my work computers, it causes the computer to spawn so many error messages about being unable to do it that it very quickly locks up the system.
