    Yesterday I bought a high quality nose hair trimmer. I went to town with it last night being very pleased with all of my gross old man nose hairs being erased.

    Today when I got in the poker room an older gentleman pulled me aside and whispered in my ear "Hey, You might want to run to the bathroom quick."

    Puzzled I was like "Huh?" He replied "left nostril." And gave me this strange nod and grin.

    I went to the bathroom and realized that my nostrils were so bald You could see my deviated septum and since it's always been covered with hair it's alabaster White.

    This dude thinks I showed up at 10:00 in the GD morning with cocaine up my nose. :lamo:

    @Hoss @gentoobro @r000t All tires have date codes stamped on them. If an unused tire is 10yrs+ old you shouldn't use it. Doesn't matter if it's NOS. The rubber goes bad & it dry rots. Don't trust your vehicle & life with it.

    The real issue is automobile owners used to all be mechanically inclined to a degree. Owners were hobbyists, enthusiasts, or had people in their lives who were. All of them worked on their own vehicles & general maintenance & visual inspections of the running gear & suspension were extremely common.

    The Japanese cars of the late 80's-90's were so reliable when combined with modern convenience culture have completely eroded casual do-it-yourself culture.

    Not only do most people not know how to change a tire / have a spare? But they don't even check tire pressure without a light from a tpms or totally flat. A few psi low or high can affect gas mileage & tire longevity.

    Nobody checks oil levels unless there's an issue. Nobody looks under the radiator cap, checks along the block, intake manifold, or transmission for signs of leaks, checks brakes, corrosion of unibody/underside etc.

    Hell nobody services a diff pre-emptively. They just wait for failure. The big issue isn't a lack of education. The information has been out since the release of the automobile. It just nobody cares, they wait for something to fail and have zero interest.

    Chat I learned something new about wahmence today.

    (I should preface this with me woife is NOT materialistic & she has returned several expensive gifts I've gotten her & put the money in savings before.)

    Anywho, she has a weakness. Cute stuff. Apparently a LOT of modern wahmence do. Here's their new trend that has them going bananas.

    Small purses, with big "stuffys" for a keychain. Apparently this is YUGE.

    I was shocked when the woife bought a Karl Lagerfeld / Lulu collab purse.

    But then... Then she bought a friggin bear keychain.... Ok whatever. That's not the strange part.

    Apparently, it's all about the accesory's. They friggen dress up their stuffys. I guess it's big enough business an entire cottage industry has sprung up on Etsy for this. I learned about this when me woife starting giggling & beaming so hard when her new outfit came in. She literally got misty eyed when she dressed her bear and attached it to her purse.

    The wahmen are playing dress up with purse charms. She spent an unholy amount of money on a Prada outfit for her friggen PURSE BEAR CHARM. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!
