@merchantHelios oof, big cup stacking energy here.
The second it is about grinding out a fixed pattern, it is no longer a game

@merchantHelios It kind of feels like, team games have universally gotten worse... because the people you play with are worse.
When I started playing HoN and Dota2, you could play and experiment and have fun. But, by the time I stopped playing, people would report and flame you if you weren't following the exact meta for what ever character you were playing.

I can appreciate that. I'm a big fan, of leading people into good things, and to lead them away from fires.
How can someone who knowingly leads his neighbor into destruction be anything but an enemy to all?
Saying things that like feels so right. Knowing and treating someone like your enemy... when they are you enemy is important.
My personal experience is that, God has often rescued me from carrying the burden of what is right and what is wrong. Such burdens feel right, but they always draw me into pride.
So, for myself, I only really feel comfortable teaching Grace. A careless faith in God, seems the most correct. Not once, has He ever let me stumble when I set aside the knowledge of good and evil, only relying on Him to keep me from falling. In fact, every time my life has gotten better.
Now, if only I could more consistently decline those most righteous of burdens.

On paper, I'd rather my neighbor keep the two greatest commandments than to live against them, but it seems like death to require anything beyond faith for God's approval.
However, I think God's Grace is enough to cover that, so I find myself, not always speaking up on such things.

@Xenophon @BowsacNoodle You make me feel so normal sometimes. I am blessed by having many fedi friends who believe wildly different things, but who still rely on Christ for their salvation.
We are going to make it. Because God's Grace is more than enough.

@Xenophon I feel like someone followed me a few days ago, and their bio said something about White identity... I'll see if I can find them. They don't seem to post much though.

@Xenophon erm, let me just do some copy-pasta for you.
The reaction has pretty much been universal... ignore what Christ did and said, and blindly quote scripture at me.
I can only do a little bit of that, before I start questioning if people are retarded.
It is like they think, Christ dying on a cross was an accident that brought Him to be accursed by the Law of God. So, we must overlook this fact! To protect God's word!

Have you not considered that the strongest rebuke in the Bible, comes to Job when he questions God for his treatment?
Mark 15
34... “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
....
But, He suffered such things for our sake. And, they always seemed to be intentional. For right after questioning God, He said “It is finished.”

Deuteronomy 21
22 If a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is executed, and you hang his body on a tree, 23 you must not leave the body on the tree overnight, but you must be sure to bury him that day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God’s curse. You must not defile the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.
Galatians 3
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
To violate the Law of God, is to sin. He sinned for our sake.

It was by the Father's design that Jesus was brought into conflict with the Law, so that it should be put to death. Because, He suffers no accuser of His Son.

2 Corinthians 5
21 God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
And, dying on the cross isn't the only way He sinned.
Have you not considered that the strongest rebuke in the Bible, comes to Job when he questions God for his treatment?
Mark 15
34... “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Adam became sin by... sinning.
Christ became sin by... sinning.
I noticed everyone explains away whenever Jesus sins. But, He suffered such things for our sake. And, they always seemed to be intentional. For right after questioning God, He said “It is finished.”
To say sin isn't sin when Jesus does it, would be to exempt Him from living as a man, and being under the law. Who can fulfill a law if they are not subject to it?
It was by the Father's design that Jesus was brought into conflict with the Law, so that it should be put to death. Because, He suffers no accuser of His Son.
Both Abraham and Christ are our example, and not an example of someone who keeps the law and lives without sin. But, instead they are our example of being loved and carried by the Father. They are examples of being setup for success by the Father. As He too is able to show us this same love and sets us up for success.
People really get hung up on obedience. But, so long as they focus on obedience, their attention will only be on themselves, and they will miss the heart of God.

Honestly, I am not sure that is the correct interpretation given other things Jesus said:
Luke 6
>27But to you hearing I say: Love your enemies, do good to those hating you, 28bless those cursing you, pray for those mistreating you. 29To the one striking you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from the one taking away your cloak, do not withhold the tunic also. 30Give to everyone asking you, and from the one taking away what is yours, do not ask it back.
People always seem to want to make the teachings of Jesus into something they can keep, but "your God is perfect there for be perfect" is something everyone should realize is unachievable, almost like they are being warned away from the path they are trying to follow.

> The world uses the bible to tear you down
They do, I've often seen this in the church.
@SapientPearwood
> Those verses do not say repeatedly go back and expose yourself to the same people that have already taken advantage of you/abused you
Honestly, I think that is exactly what He said. The examples He gives involve you NOT seeking justice, and repaying evil with good. You say that they "not say repeatedly" is actually adding to the text.
Overall this topic reminds me of a law that says, do not travel more than 3/5th of a mile from your home on the day of rest. The Israelites found this to be too burdensome, so they changed the interpretation to mean, from your possessions. And, started spreading their possessions out over the whole area they wished to be able to travel freely on the day of rest.
Jesus seemed to encounter lots of people who, by the massaging of interpretations thought they were sinless or perfect. He told one to give everything away, and the man couldn't for he trusted in his money more than God. To others Jesus told them, if you lust in your heart, or hate in your heart, then you are as guilty as the adulterer and murderer already.
Once Jesus told them to forgive their brother 7 times, or God would not forgive them. Another time, He increased it to 7 x 70, and the disciples cried out in shock! You can clearly see they didn't think that was possible.
These things shocked the people who heard them! These people who had rationalized and reworked God commandments into things they could easily keep. The security of their own works were stripped away by Jesus' words.
But now? Now people read these verses, and they go "oh, well I am just supposed to do my best! As long as I do my best that will please God!" Now... the very tool used to shock people out of relying upon their works to please God, has been subverted, made into reassurance even. People read the words of Jesus and think "Oh, well he actually meant this, and this, and you can definitely uphold these teaching if you see them from this direction."
And, really, I would not be here belaboring this point, except that it seemed important to Jesus, to disillusion anyone who thought they were keeping God's commandments in a way pleasing to God. So it must be of some consequence.
For if it were at all possible to please God with our earnest attempts, then Jesus would not have needed to die for us.

Concerning those who had a hand in the poast DM leak, the chudbud leak, and those who are funneling information to news outlets to sustain and continue the attack.
I make a public appeal to Jesus and The Father.
Heavenly Father, concerning these wicked people, cut them off from your patience, from your forgiveness. Delay not their judgement. Drag them out into the open, and make a spectacle of their destruction. So that all fedi may know that you are God, and that you will fight for those who are your friends.
And, I ask for the comfort of those attacked most like Graf, and peace for those who have been exposed to personal attacks. Father, enter into this attack of satan and work it for our good. Restore fedi, make it 7 times greater, according to your Glory.
And finally, Father, thank you for the fedi, this place of free speech, of fellowship with others who delight in righteousness.
So be it, to the Glory of my Lord Jesus the Christ, who reigns above all, and who will make all things right.

Same here, The other day I realized, it doesn't matter if the anger is justified, I am just not designed to carry it, and I started to ask Jesus to help me forgive, all the terrible people.
So now, even if someone posts some terrible thing, and if it upsets me, I am going to ask Jesus to be my help forgiving who ever it is xD
It feels a little irresponsible, but being a child about it, is the correct thing to do xD

I agree in so far as reconciliation is concerned. If you try to restore someone to the relationship they had with you, without them turning away from being your enemy, you are in for a world of hurt xD And, I wasn't saying God should forgive them without their repentance.
But, while you may be able to carry anger for these people, and remain unaffected by hard judgements coming to mind every time you read about them, however it was wearing me down friend.
Either it is Enoch or Habakkuk, those who ask God why He has allowed the evil doers to "get away with it", they are all satisfied by His answer. Those evil will be justly rewarded, so much so that none will be able to say it is not enough, and it will be the same for the righteous, they will be rewarded so much so that none will be able to say it is not enough.
In the mean time, people will switch groups, maybe more than once, so it is not our concern, for we cannot even predict who will be accounted righteous, or full of iniquity on the great day of judgement.
And in so much as those who do evil, force God's intervention for my sake, and for your sake, they may be utterly destroyed and lose their change to find righteousness in Christ Jesus all together. (I have seen this IRL more than once)
And, we are not supposed to let our hearts be troubled by any of this, to be care free, and happy, and enjoying fellowship with Jesus and Jehovah, to enjoy the earnest payment of our Salvation that is our portion.

Thank you friend. I like @RMIV, and @teknomunk perspective on this. And, you are right, I agree, and my family was very much abused by relatives who used the twisted forgiveness doctrine as a club to beat them into submission.
I even know some Christian men, who at the last midterm election here in the USA, exhorted each other to pray for Joe Biden, for him to be blessed, for him to make good and wise decisions.
So, perhaps I am using the wrong word? Though, to turn away from anger, and desiring someone to be destroyed, that feels like forgiveness to me xD From my perspective, forgiving them benefits me a lot, goodbye bitterness and anger, you wont ruin my day, but we can't reconcile, we can't become friends, until they stop being my enemy, until they repent.
