@pfefferle does this mean that if I comment from the fediverse, the blogger can reply me directly from the blog (with me receiving the answer on the fediverse) ?
it’s a pity that two major popular fediverse projects do not federate well, i guess that’s impossible for a normie user to give enough details for opening a proper issue/bug lemmy side
two things i noticed on the still few blogs i’m following, maybe they’re still experimenting with the plugin but…
from their websites i don’t see in evidence somewhere, something like a predefined ‘about’ page with the activitypub name and the like.
Mostly the discover happen when the owners share once their blog AP address from within a mastodon account, which in theory they don’t even have to have.
if you try to comment a blog article from the website, would be cool to be presented with an option “comment /likefrom a fediverse account” that will popup the usual way
This is also a great option for subscribing to a blog you didn’t know that was on the fediverse
@petrescatraian it’s not that in western world we don’t know how to make a single app for everything. It’s that we are not on a single authoritarian state that is also the market so some stuff like surveying or social score is not allowed and for state stuff/taxes, to each his own
is there an official point of reference that pleroma admin should follow for those kind of sudden issues and immediate action to take? I wasn’t, but i could have been attacked if i didn’t saw your suggestions. Yesterday i simply saw in my timeline one message from Alex Gleason and then i started following you on this profile and on @lain with alerts on.
Does not seems the right place to follow you if i’m just interested in pleroma security…
But conversations are splitted, right ? If i change my pleroma server with a server that can do both, does it work like a crossposter ? I mean, i post something, i guess it appears from the two different identities of myself. Alice reply to me from Nostr, not from my server. Bob reply to me from fediverse. not from my server They don’t see each other contributions, do they ?
as someone pointed out, as these are comparable to single user instances, would be great to have a list. Could eventually such a list be optionally created by the plugin? When you install the plugin, maybe a first message could be sent with a particolar hashtag and the blog content description.
If someone knows great wordpress blog to follow, bost it. Same for whatever interesting federated content != microblogging
