"Support for farmers" is quite the euphemism. Farmers don't need software to tell them how to optimize their area of expertise, and if they did they could arrange for that themselves.

I have zero doubt that Palantir's management suggestions will be used as leverage to withhold funding as a means to control food production, local/state politics, and everything downstream of those.

Now I'm wondering if Thiel was behind Trump trying to empty an agricultural reservoir in California last year.

How is it the cops claim they're going to continue doing other "charity" work while not being paid by the city, while apparently not doing this one with the gravy train cut off? Are the other ones paying them instead of relying on misappropriated city government funding?

I think the timers on our first control panel got fried by hot pans hanging over it, since it's all on the same surface. Got it replaced while just within warranty, and the repairman said it was a common problem with that design.

Ours screeches loudly if the controls are in contact with heat, but we might've ignored it a little too long once or twice 😂

Tony's Chocolonely was created by a Dutch journalist after airing investigations of the chocolate industry on his show, when the public attention alone wasn't sufficient to induce change.

It's available around Europe and the US now. Costs more, but it's worth it. And shouldn't be eating a ton of it anyhow 😂

There's other good brands too, but they're the exception and you really have to research before buying chocolate products. At least with Tony's the origins are rooted in ethical concerns, so they're not gonna try to pull a fast one if they think they can get away with it.

That intersection is actively homicidal.

And there's no sidewalk on the far side of the street, so people have to either cross there or take a long detour through a meandering maze of residential roads in a neighborhood designed to be hostile to anything except cars 🙄

Google maps tells pedestrians and bicycles to cross right at that insanely busy 5 lane intersection with no crosswalk, warning lights, or even a sign warning of pedestrians.

Either the money is thrown away on a doomed legal defense, or the Nazi has a temporary windfall which quickly dries up and causes massive personal strife as all his pals show up expecting a piece of the pie. And in both cases, the fascists sending it to him are a bit poorer, with less to spend on something more damaging to society.
