Don't think we saw this before? Sierra Madre city council voted unanimously to put a lien on the house to cover the public nuisance abatement and cleanup costs. They haven't been able to contact the owner since they started attempting to in 2019, but the property taxes keep getting paid.

Hopefully the owner is living somewhere more habitable and being an asshole about taking care of that house while waiting for the value to go up enough. He's a libertarian, so just might not care that his property is bear bait 🤷♀️
