@clickhere@drwho@alice@protonprivacy I could not, so I did some digging for you anyway, and here are the providers I would start with to narrow down the most suitable ones for me, if I was looking. Ones marked with an asterisk are those that I vaguely recall being on my original research list:
https://posteo.de (Germany)* Do read their sustainability section. I LOVE IT! "Posteo employees can have their bike repaired by a mechanic free of charge."
Points to consider for each are features/restrictions/allowances, pricing, security practices, jurisdiction of data storage, how well they are ranked by security professionals, and others. I hope this helps with a starting point.
@markwyner@KatyElphinstone@GreenRoc@BernieDoesIt@athena_rising My brain works in a similar way. Feed it what interests it, and it can do anything. Try to do the old "here comes the aeroplane" with boring old broccoli it wants nothing of, and it will play dumb as a rock and about as stubborn.
@alcinnz@rysiek It's always been inefficient software. But greater computing power allows more progress by allowing inefficiencies to enter the human domain - either by employing less intelligent, less skilled workers, or pushing them to do it quicker or to take shortcuts. ☹️ #capitalismruinseverything
@rysiek I hate the way people use "hacked" to describe what happens when their dumb ass has fallen for a social engineering scam. No. You haven't been hacked. You've been had.
