I thought a “boxing video” would be the opposite of an “unboxing video” but it was just two dudes dancing around trying to hit each other.

@armadsen @thomasfuchs I blame the people who made things too easy and hid the complexity. Not that things should be extremely difficult, but there’s got to be a middle ground.

@dansup @binarytango Does anyone else (besides me) think allowing hashtags to start with numbers would be a good thing?

Is there a legitimate reason to not allow it?

@dansup Sorry, to be more clear I should have said "hashtags that *start* with a number" specifically I guess.

So I cannot use #1972 as a hashtag... how might I use an alternative? Something like #year1927 though that seems very unobvious from a user perspective.

Looks like #Pixelfed does not properly support numbers (and therefore years) as hashtags.

Question of the day: Do companies owned by Musk get more funding from the US government than NPR does?

Another day, another Mastodon client for iOS is released.

So you can edit a toot (post) but you cannot edit the alt text for an image included in a toot (post) which is sadness if you forget and really want to try to do it right.

Just so you know... I'm going to be wrong... frequently. Please feel free to (gently, if possible) let me know when I am just flat out wrong about something.
