89K MAU on two 8c VPS. It's not as fast as normal, but it's powering through.

Pretty Hecking Performant.

@moehrenfeld those sound like configuration issues, not bugs. Pixelfed.social is federating fine, but the massive amount of config options in pixelfed does make it easy to misconfigure.

We're working to fix this.

Once I migrate pixelfed.social from imagick to libvips, we'll be much more responsive.

That's our bottleneck now.

@stux @fribygda loops is super beta too though, I'd love to see Goldfish back, it has an amazing webUI and if we share a common API, Goldfish users could use the Loops app.

I'm going to prioritize the @pixelfed app and new web user interface, sorry Loops but we need to ship these updates.

Pixelfed Stories use Bearcaps and rotate media urls after 15 minutes after delivery.

We schedule the deletes after 24h, but we are adding support for public stories too.

Its a pretty clever setup, we only deliver to Pixelfed servers, but I will be updating that to open up in case other implementations want to support Stories.

@emill1984 @pixelfed a separate app for Stories? That could work, you will be able to disable them in the Pixelfed app.
