"You made in USA! You not made in China! Hahaha!"
We used to call those "anchor babies".

@ZeroSum06 I'll give ya that one. I'm a terrible driver! I won't drive on freeways in cities because I scare myself!
The metric system, no pennies, AND permanent Daylight time? Dayum. Canada isn't perfect, but what they get right they get very right!
Yes, PNS, that was my takeaway. Also, the "can't read a speech" part was... intriguing. If you can't read a speech, how are you supposed to read intel reports?
OK frens, you did a great job the first time, but I need to to do it again. BOOST THIS!! PLEASE!!
This is the second news interview about my mom's murder case with a different channel.
I know you only see a few selectively edited seconds of me, but these are usually 20-minute interviews. I know that doesn't sound like much, but reliving the incident is a throat punch EVERY TIME. It knocks the wind out of me.
If I can do that, Y'all can BOOOOST!!!!
TIA.
Many retired people are property owners. Should they be forced to choose between voting and collecting the SS/Medicare they paid into for their entire working life?
Point take, but if something like this ever gets a foothold, they will take it too far. They'll start forbidding people to vote if they collect the Social Security and Medicare they paid into for decades, or people whose children qualify for discounted or free school lunches... and so forth.
Then people should choose when they enter the work force if they want voting rights as seniors. Those who want to vote should be exempt from FICA.
And again, without women the species ends. We have IMMENSE value and deserve a voice.
Naw, I'm pretty sure I said "adult working lives" or something to that effect.
What do you consider a job?
Of COURSE they withdraw more than they put in, in straight numbers. but not with FAIR adjustments for inflation.
Without females, nothing ever continues. We die together, male and female.
I am, and I have. I don't want a "pass". I want respect. Just like you do.
At least I don't resort to ad hominem attacks.

I don't use the n-word for the same reason I quit dropping the f-bomb and every other cuss. I've chosen to be classy. I can refrain from swear words and still be just as cruel, but I look smarter. And a bit snooty, like Queen Liz. I like that.
Yes. APC 600VA. Because it was highly recommended by people who know a lot more about this stuff than I do.
They are and it is absolutely infuriating! Cops lied to me when my mother was murdered, and if I had not caught them out, they'd still be lying.
Yes we do. They could at least credit us with a couple of brain cells to rub together.
I love my best friend, but I'm losing my voice trying AGAIN to explain to her that suspecting m5m of lying is the DEFAULT position!
Only because both my parents died during the "pandemic" and I inherited everything. They'd saved up for a nice long retirement but tragically that was taken from them. Now I have money that I feel terrible about and can't bring myself to spend, so it's invested for my kids.
It should apply to every American. We should all be able to operate within the law without being called out by our political opponents, as we live now in a polarized and contentious society.
@wjmaggos
You can't stop people with clout from doing illegal things anyway. And after over a half century of witnessing a de facto caste system in operation, you eventually not only lose concern for the "larger culture" but have apathy and even animosity toward it. Confronting the polarization in a meaningful way would mean being as harshly punitive as publicly as possible. We are ANGRY and we want RETRIBUTION and REVENGE. And, yes, anonymity levels the field.
Explain "welcome to leave". Do you mean I'm welcome to not live in an unfair society? Where, precisely, do you suggest I go to achieve that? I've done a LOT of traveling, all over the world, and I haven't found a place yet that doesn't engage in some sort of multi-tier society.
The only way I'm "welcome to leave" is to commit suicide. Is that what you're suggesting?
