He's doing a 24-hour talk-a-thon filibuster, and one of his staff was arrested for bringing a guy into the Capital building.
That might mean Booker's staff had more firearms than the entire J6 kerfuffle.

There's two kinds of filibuster now. There's the one where everyone pretends there's a filibuster because there aren't enough votes, and there's the original filibuster which involves someone standing in front of Congress and yammering for as long as they can.
The latter is impressive, but accomplishes little more than news coverage. Especially in this case, when he's not holding up a bill.
The new filibuster temporarily kills a bill until more votes are found.
I think this is supposed to be for Ukraine. The place with the Nazi sympathizers.
TBH, Putin doesn't even have to bomb anything. I'd give him Los Angeles and San Francisco in exchange for a box of Pop Tarts. And I don't even like Pop Tarts.
When a trans defender insists that a man be allowed into the ladies' room because he "feels" like a woman (whatever one of those is!) I ask "why are that person's feelings more important than mine?"
This puts the argument in their playing field, and in order to play by their own rules, they have to acknowledge my feelings are real.
It's brain-locked at least a dozen people so far.
(And I was doing it before Jordan Peterson went on the BBC.)
Remember that list of really really old people Elon found at the Social Security Administration? I figured out who they are:
Dems: The DOGE team is too young! They don't know anything!
Also Dems: Greta Thunberg may be a child and a school dropout, but we need to listen to her!

Picture ID is required to vote in North Carolina. According to the mailer I received from the State Board of Elections, if I don't have the money or paperwork for official ID, I can pop over to their office, give them my name, and they'll give me picture ID suitable for voting. No paperwork required.
So really, the BoE is undermining the law. I could pop into several offices, give a local address and some name, and get free, local IDs that I could then take voting in multiple precincts.
"Brain health: Marijuana can cause permanent IQ loss of as much as 8 points when people start using it at a young age. These IQ points do not come back, even after quitting marijuana."

(References at the bottom)
The key here is "at a young age". People who don't start pot until their late 20's have fewer mental side effects than those that start in their teens.
Based on my housemate, they also kill brain cells.
Anyway, it will be a long time before this research leads to results:
"These studies are considered by the NCI as preclinical. They were all done using animals. According to them, no clinical trials of cannabis use for the treatment of cancer in humans have been published."
This summary references several studies demonstrating pot use by youngsters decreases IQ and increases risk of certain mental health issues.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9255894/
There are also plenty of studies that show both those risks are significantly reduced in adults (25+).
Apparently you believe that pot is such an unmitigated good that one can't even make a joke about a truth that reflects poorly on it. I'm not interested in pursuing this further with a zealot.
Are you flying from Australia? It's $600 from the East Coast of the US, round trip.
Sooooo...some women have necklaces that are similar? They are not identical in length, style or color.
I don't know who most of those women are, but I'll bet this type of necklace can be found worn by many women, from non-political to hyper-political.
*shrug* Women's necklaces are some kind of chain. Large links, small links, fancy links, plain links, overlapping links. Sometimes they have a pendant or other decoration, sometimes they don't.
But you really are reading too much into women's jewelry.
From women's Olympic rugby. Not sure which is more impressive: the catch and release, or the strength of those shorts.
I see this often.
If she was born in the US, she's a natural-born citizen, and thus eligible. There's no exception made for anchor babies.
