@Idoru @GoodComradeLolaDaviet medical standards have been reduced three times in my lifetime.

Barrier for entry was lowered in the 70/80's because there wasn't enough black doctors, standards were lowered again in the 90's because there weren't enough female doctors.

In the last 10-15 years, or so, Indian doctors can pay to shadow a licensed physician for a year in the US and then they're "deemed as passed" US medical school.

@stsmith01 there used to be a script you could run that would go through your account and overwrite every comment you ever made with some boilerplate so that when you deleted your account you'd also deprive them of the content you'd added to their platform.

I would like to preempt the following with a disclaimer: I hold no illusions that I am the smartest person ever. I have had the good fortune of working with legitimately smart people and they are a joy if, for no other reason, I don't have to explain my jokes/references.

With that being said — Working with morons is exhausting...

I want to, sincerely, apologize if I ever frustrated those smart people whom I have worked with in the past.

I remember when you could read stuff on the internet instead of having to watch a video of some guy rambling for fifty minutes and stretching 5 minutes of information into an hour in order to get more ad money.
