    Puroland visit megathread.
    I woke up and headed over to Keio Tama Center. That's on the outskirts of Tokyo. I'd bought a day ticket from klook for $22. According to my yandex search, a Disneyland one day ticket in Florida can cost anywhere from five times that or even more. That's too much money! So as to save even more money during my trip to Puroland, I snuck in a pack of vanilla caloriemate to munch on instead of going to the park restaurants. I chose vanilla flavor. It has a strong vanilla base, reinforced with a second layer of vanilla to enhance the flavor, finished with a third touch of vanilla, the king of all flavors.

    I saw a musical performance, had my picture taken with Kitty-chan, rode a water boat ride, and watched a short parade before heading back. Unfortunately I didn't think to check the schedule for the miracle gift parade and missed that one! But perhaps I can see that for myself someday.

    After I got back to the hotel I had a starbucks coffee and watched an old episode of Star Trek while waiting for the photos and videos to finish uploading to my cloud server, and then set to work writing commentary and making this album while my memories were still fresh.

    @Dude I wish I didn't have to say this but if you make a game you should pay a lot of attention to the comments people make about said game. People say positive things about Chrono Trigger and Tetris because they're great games. If your game is getting tons of hate, it's probably because it's bad.

    In preparation of living and working here in Japan, I did a bit of arts and crafts this morning. I got a cheapo pocket photo frame keychain from daiso. I then printed out some relevant QR codes for comms apps that are popular. LINE is very common over in Japan. My folks and friends also like Whatsapp so that's on the other side of the keychain. The idea is if I meet someone and they want to be pals (or they are just people who need to get in touch sometimes) I can show them the QR code and then they can scan it with their smartphone. We can then become pals on those apps. I blacked out the QR codes before uploading here because I don't want to doxx myself on the internet.

    Before anyone gets angry at me for using these low tier, low/no privacy comms apps, I can't get everyone around me to use briar, signal, delta chat, etc. Though I can effectively get them to communicate using delta chat by giving them the email address I use for that.

    I am trying to eat better (and smaller portions) to lose weight in Japan but today I wanted something decadent. After doing laundry (and note to self, I could probably dump a full grocery tote bag's worth of clothes into the 4.5kg capacity machine next time. That would probably be the right amount.)

    I went out to get curry from Coco Ichibanya's, a chain curry place.

    They have more levels of spice than the last time I went there. Today I had a Lv.5 curry with 350g of rice and two crab cream croquettes. That was fantastic. lAfter that I stopped at a FamilyMart to obtain something for dessert: a small cup of green tea ice cream.
