@EdBoatConnoisseur I really love the aesthetic of the colored translucent ps2 memory cards which let you look at the circuitry within. It reminds me of the isolinear chip bays from Star Trek.
@Kirino If it's okay for me to suggest some custom error messages, I'd like to recommend the creation of "fission mailed" from mgs2 and one for LCARS (the computer gui system from Star Trek)
@lonestarr@Witch_Hunter_Siegfried@supersid333 This is a little off-topic but the "Army of Darkness" rpg also runs on Cinematic Unisytem. It has rules for running AoD and/or the Evil Dead as a cinematic game. It also had packages for making Tool Men, which are people who have grafted tools or weapons onto their own bodies.
The main reason I didn't include content from that one is I think it is too thematically and tonally dissimilar to the core Nasuverse. I'm trying to avoid going too fanfic-ey, if you understand what I mean. Still, some of Ash's Big Chin abilities to heal troops and inspire them might be appropriate for Iskandar (Rider) to have and use. In any case, if you want your player characters to fight Deadites, Army of Darkness is the book to get.
@lonestarr@Witch_Hunter_Siegfried@supersid333 Continuing this discussion - the Army of Darkness TRPG does have some notes on running games in a fantasy medieval setting (read: d&d-type fantasy) but you could also incorporate material from Dungeons and Zombies, a sourcebook for Unisystem's "All Flesh Must Be Eaten". Slam in the magic rules from the Nasuverse game and you've got a tabletop fantasy game that Hasbro can't corrupt, though you will need to mix and match rules to get exactly what you want. As a movie fan, I want to experience movies in great quality and have them be faithful to the director's vision of what the movies were supposed to be. It takes some time but building out your own digital library is better than relying on a streaming service.

heavens_feelPuroland visit megathread. I woke up and headed over to Keio Tama Center. That's on the outskirts of Tokyo. I'd bought a day ticket from klook for $22. According to my yandex search, a Disneyland one day ticket in Florida can cost anywhere from five times that or even more. That's too much money! So as to save even more money during my trip to Puroland, I snuck in a pack of vanilla caloriemate to munch on instead of going to the park restaurants. I chose vanilla flavor. It has a strong vanilla base, reinforced with a second layer of vanilla to enhance the flavor, finished with a third touch of vanilla, the king of all flavors.
I saw a musical performance, had my picture taken with Kitty-chan, rode a water boat ride, and watched a short parade before heading back. Unfortunately I didn't think to check the schedule for the miracle gift parade and missed that one! But perhaps I can see that for myself someday.
After I got back to the hotel I had a starbucks coffee and watched an old episode of Star Trek while waiting for the photos and videos to finish uploading to my cloud server, and then set to work writing commentary and making this album while my memories were still fresh.
