@sapphire Ding ding ding. They thought that having the default web tool resolve to anything on a physical network was "unacceptable"... so they just disabled the ability to call out to RFC 1918. Took me about 10 minutes to convince the homonoculus to build me a new tool that uses cURL that doesn't do that. Fucking insufferable.

@Hoss Same with regards to Canada. That country's been horribly mismanaged, and it's full of Indians and other scum who use it as a jumping off point to get "legal" status in the US, but this recent footsie with China won't work. It's entirely unacceptable that the US might share the world's longest unprotected border with a country that's in the back pocket of an adversary.

Europe, that is the EU, is looking more and more like they'll cut off their nose to spite their faces. I still think the Islamism stuff is stupid, the ethnic factions are too dumb to war over anything that isn't obviously a handout, but they have been flirting with China and India, while spitting in the face of decades of American defense subsidization. I think they need a pretty clear slap in the face to explain that's not fucking acceptable.
