     What, physical media? I think it does for as long as services like GOG aren't common. I respect GOG just as much as physical media because once I've downloaded a file I can put it anywhere, even burn it to a disc.
     
     There are very few DRM free music services online, meanwhile CD's are DRM-free by default PLUS I get a CD to play wherever I want. If given the option, I'd always rather buy a CD than a digital album, even without DRM.
     
     I'm not gonna start hating stuff just because redditors cum in their jimmies over it.

     I've never experienced this IRL, plus if you have the right BD player you can rip your PS3 games.
     
     I've never understood the contrarian physical media hate. If I buy a CD, not only do I have a CD that will play for 20-30 years or more, I also can rip it to a PC. Same with movies.
