updating the mechanics of how attack pathways work, gave the rules engine a bit of an overhaul, and im in the process of tripling the number of rules in the system to detect stuff

all plain english, no mitre bullshit, instantly actionable.

this was a multidomain report run against four massive companies as a test in the dev environment, and im nowhere near done adding rules for shit i saw in that report.

is anyone else getting random follows from accounts on infosec.exchange and defcon.social where the account is like a day or two old, has barely any profile filled out, has zero posts, zero followers, but is already follwing a few dozen or a few hundred accounts? seems super shady. ive been blocking them on sight

@ai6yr @spencer when i was a kid, i had someone tell me this story that at 1 wilshire, one of the most famous data centers in LA, myspace was being hosted - and one day there was a power outage. the systems were on battery backup, but the cooling wasnt - so the heat in there got so high that it caused the plastic fronts of servers to get warm emough to melt and get droopy - but ive never been able to find an article about it
