   The drama in the Leica community on subreddit is some mods are banning ‘political discussions’, which is funny since Leicas were so often used to document.. fascism.

   Of course the real drama is many Leica users spend more time posting about Leica than taking photos.

     @gglockner @skinnylatte i have a handful of friends who have a q3 and i see what they post on instagram. the last proper camera i bought was a nikon d3s. years later i bought a cannon powershot point and shoot and it was ok. i have no idea how well the q3 does macro, but anything i'd buy would have to be able to do macro well

     @Viss @skinnylatte The best way to cure the “want” of a Leica is to rent one. I rented a Q2 about 5 years ago; it was a joy to use but the photos it took were worse than other cameras I rented.
