I honestly liked the Wing Commander film and the original Super Mario Brothers with Bob Hoskins, Jon Leguazmo, and Dennis Hopper...
... But I have always been odd.
I will finish anyone who speaks bad of the original Mortal Kombat.

So, since I now have a van to work on I will be focusing on what to do for my Vanlife blogging.
I figure just setting up a wordpress blog on Wanderers-Waypoint.com will be sufficient. I can add ActivityPub support for myself and build a community there with one of the forum plugins. That being said, if I do that then it becomes opt-in for federation. The plugin requires a user to toggle the process on.
So I am open to options as well.
In a lot of ways Discoverability on Fediverse is going to be like it was back in the early days. Just linking and talking about the cool sites and communities you found with friends.
Of course you also kinda need to build the cool stuff yourself half the time.
So, here's a question for all of you.
I want to start blogging about my move into #vanlife and vehicle camping and feel blogging will help.
I have three domains:
TinyopolisTX
TinyopolisUSA
Wanderers-Waypoint
I want to include federated communities into my setup.
Should I Stick with one domain and use the Subdomains to handle add-ons? Should I try and build a community on one and blog on the other?
Thoughts?
Anti-Mastodon the Software but still big on Fedi? Or is the entire Fediverse concept getting corrupted for you?
Exactly. We got to encourage either moving to smaller niche servers or single user instances like yours and mine.
And we need smaller instances to spread things out.
It happens. I get it more from all the other networks, but I still get it here on occasion.

Sounds about right. If I ever figure out a better way to handle my multiple projects, the community rules basically starts with.
1.) Don't be a dick.
2.) There is absolutely nothing about you or your identity that excludes you from Rule 1.
While I get it, not everyone left and a lot of information is still shared there.
That being said, screenshots seems to be the primary style of sharing a thread of comments from any social media site to a greater group of folks.
I see screenshots of X, Meta, Instagram, and especially Tumblr.
It's just probably the easiest way to share cross platform
You keep a horde of children from South East Asia locked up making cheap shoes you sell at extreme prices?
So, as of now I have nuked all of my instances except this one. I will need to figure out if Mastodon was the right call for those sites or if I should try something else for them. I still want to provide a nice federated experience eventually, but it's not easy.
I'm not even diagnosed with anything and I am in this meme, you Bastard!
Not to mention how every timeline has an RSS feed built in.
Who would be interested in an instance built on sharing supernatural and dark fantasy content? Maybe some darker gritty Cyberpunk or TechNoir?
I am thinking of rebuilding an old community I called Darkscribes. I still have the domain but I am doing nothing with it currently. It was the 2000s and we were cringe... But we were free.
Thoughts?
If anyone can help me figure this out it be appreciated.
I am trying to get back to photography, but also thinking about art of somekind. Just wasn't sure what was a good idea at any one time and such. Mastodon just seemed a safe option for a jack of all trades to start.
Not giving up on my #Drupal sites, but am disappointed that #ActivityPub isn't working properly. The module is minimally maintained, meaning the dev is working on things they feel is more important.
I want this working.
I loved this UI, I wish Microsoft had stuck with it, but they decided to try and standardize their User Interface across the entire line. Which kinda makes sense when you want to keep the underlying OS the same and just modify the top level UI areas. BUt it leads to stagnation and a stale homogenious feeling.
Interesting thing is that everything seems to be functioning as intended with #ActivityPub and the #PersonalReader module which provides a Mastodon like setup for reading things. but I still can't follow or be followed.
I am stumped on this subject. I THINK that maybe there is an issue with NGINX config maybe, or something else. Just don't know.
Owner / Creative Lead for Mechanized Armadillo Productions and PublicationsMultiple projects active but sometimes going no where.Probably would offend most of you if I started going on about things.
