Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Sunday, 15-Sep-2024 04:06:55 JST Owl!๐ฆ > Though I'm also clueless as to how it relates to the post
It's unrelated, but you post a lot about neurodiversity and i picked a random post to ask a question about the subject in general.
> I feel those that talk a lot aren't usually those with ASPD
They may talk a lot to entertain themselves (and also lie a lot in the process for no reason). ASPD isn't that kind of disorder that make you withdrawn and unsociable, it's commonly referenced as sociopathy and its most notable drawback is the lack of empathy and the feeling that people around you are retarded subhumans

I understand, it's pretty bad. I dislike this overly radical reaction, but okay.

I once asked my mom if she would still love me if i finally went full crazy and killed a shit ton of people in a mass shooting. She said she would, even though killing people for no reason is pretty bad.

I dig a bit about this whole "rapist support" situation. I didn't find any mention of her vigilantly supporting that person, i only found that she attended their trial, and then said she shouldn't havehttps://variety.com/2024/music/news/linkin-emily-armstrong-criticism-danny-masterson-1236135990/

Sometimes i think that human society itself is a huge church of scientology, a destructive cult that at best makes people sad, at worst makes them kill themselves ๐ -

Everyone dislikes her for poor vocal performance, now it turns out that she is a victim of scientology brainwashing and is also hated for that. I hope she doesn't follow in chester's footsteps

Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Saturday, 31-Aug-2024 04:14:59 JST Owl!๐ฆ Well, scraping someone's follower-only posts is indeed a dubious thing. From one perspective, it is worth mentioning that "follower-only" posts are in fact not protected, they are broadcasted to everyone anyway, and could be made public by a pleroma mrf policy (like the one annihilation.social is using).
From other perspective it is a rather bad behavior. Anyway, stop assuming your posts here to be "protected", it is dumb and, honestly, dangerous. You still can block people and instances if you don't like them for whatever reason, though.

Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Saturday, 31-Aug-2024 03:33:12 JST Owl!๐ฆ Then "normal users" have a twisted understanding of the word "public". You make a post, don't put any restrictions on it, you don't encrypt it, it is visible to EVERYONE, but you don't expect it to be scraped for by a stranger, for some reason. This kind of brainrot is responsible for a fact that we don't have a normal bsky bridge...

Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Saturday, 31-Aug-2024 03:22:55 JST Owl!๐ฆ These posts are public, everything is public here, anyone could use this data for any purpose.
Usually when people talk about privacy violation, it is about selling personal data, like legal name, email, home address, private encrypted messages, etc. Stuff that is highly sensitive and pretty much wasn't intended to be known by anyone except a certain party.
If you don't want to make your posts available for everyone, there is a simple solution - stop using public social networks ๐ง -

Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Friday, 09-Aug-2024 05:44:52 JST Owl!๐ฆ I thought that linkedin isn't a social network at all but rather a workforce catalogue ๐ค
> The point of a social network is being social and having interaction with others, not broadcasting for the sake of broadcasting.
I also disagree with this. Sometimes you actually create a social network account for the purpose of broadcasting something, like posting pictures you've drawn, not for social interactions. I remember a friend of mine complaining that the artists he followed on xitter used to post a lot of personal and political stuff, which was annoying because he only followed them to see pictures.

Owl!๐ฆ (lonelyowl@lor.sh)'s status on Thursday, 08-Aug-2024 07:04:35 JST Owl!๐ฆ There is no "algorithm", if you follow a person, you will see all of their posts in your feed. If you follow too many people, your feed will look like a rapid conveyor belt of random stuff, which is not convenient.
Therefore, at least for me, it makes sense to try to only follow folks who you find genuinely interesting to interact with. You may notice that i often reply to your posts or reposts, this is because i follow not that many people and your posts don't get lost in my feed ๐ -
