     @BeAware@social.beaware.live I can't stand screenshots anymore. They're everywhere now. On Threads, I see more and more people posting screenshots of other Threads posts. WTF?

     While I get it, not everyone left and a lot of information is still shared there.

     That being said, screenshots seems to be the primary style of sharing a thread of comments from any social media site to a greater group of folks.

     I see screenshots of X, Meta, Instagram, and especially Tumblr.

     It's just probably the easiest way to share cross platform

     @CWSmith Yeah...and I just don't see the value. Copy and paste exists. Nothing is original anyway...we're trying to get *away* from these platforms and posting screenshots isn't doing anything to further that endeavor.

     If it's posted on a Federated platform, boost. Everything else is easily copied and pasted.

     As much as it's spread around negatively today, take the advice from the Microsoft guy. It's not like ButtLicker42069 is gonna sue you for re-uploading his meme.
