Honestly, at this point until Meta actually makes it two way we can't really do much more.
We tried, and frankly due to the nature of the setup we can't even point to the good things because it's all coming soon TM.

Yeah, but you do have cryptography without Blockchain. And Blockchain is really a specific use of the process.
I need to lock down everything in encryption.
Not sure on that. Cryptography and Blockchain are two very different things. Though Blockchain beyond the hype train demands an understanding of cryptography.
I see.
Very well. I will do that then.
I thought I didn't need to do anything for them to find me. Just for me to find them.
It's only worth it if I was really using the account in the first place. Since I am not I would rather just let people follow me properly in terms of federated profiles.
I haven't turned it on, but I have an account I don't use there for something else so it's not worth the time.
It's not ironic...
It's domestic abuse...
Threads is begging you not to leave... Threads can change.
Will do. WIll probably start with RPG Maker due to it being very simple to get started and from what I can tell it is built to be more for storytellers who want to create a game with their story. Godot is open source and more complicated as an angine, but if I can actually do something... in general, it be sweet.
Unreal seems to be difficult to get installed in linux where as RPG Maker can run in Steam with the Proton Windows emulation and Godot is native. I honestly would prefer to stick with something open source like Godot due to the lower risk of someone at Epic or another Unity Debacle.
Mostly I am thinking of creating some RPG story type games mostly to try and get an ide of how such things go. Might be interesting.
Looking at how to create an RPG, I could do it in RPG Maker and play around with that to get a good idea of basics. I got a free copy one day on Steam on a ucky find. I also have Godot installed.
Just no idea what to do.
Frankly I might concider it for https://mstdn.lemontastica.net due to the content it's meant for. But that's a different discussion.
Baring that I think it defeats the purpose, isn't there a setting in Mastodon instances that allows for just that?
No, it really isn't.
What they want is basically to just recreate what Twitter and Facebook are but by their rules while claiming to be part of a greater network. It's gatekeeping, which frankly a lot of those same people would condemn if you decided you didn't want them through the gate.
Seal the network and only allow the chosen or those loyal to the cause to be part of it.
I really don't want to shut down 4 out of 6 of the instances I run, but at the same time I seem to be the only one who is interested in them. And the cost per month to run them is by itself annoying when no one seems to care.
I don't know if having independent instances for the Bots from the sites I am building is worth the compound server costs.
Exactly.
I am adding AI Image media types to the web page for Reliquary. I plan to share everything I used to get said Image, as well as tack them to Prompts for people to use to create things. Figure it might be interesting.
I got the same issue with visuals, and you have to add in the issue of Rigging the model to move.
That particular project is @EternalCurator
I do have an Artist helping out when I can afford to commission her. It's not like a $10k Anime quality type thing, but it's good to start. Plus she doesn't give me too much shit for using AI Image Generators.
The biggest issue is that people don't seem to understand that copyright is not absolute. You can copyright a specific thing, but not say the style of artwork. The anti's ignore that pretty much their entire arugment is that no one can ever use the same styles or learn from others work. THey say it's different due to it being a machine versus a human, but really its just about the tech existing.
Definitely has my brain working a bit of scene work.
Definitely had my brain go to a dark back alley in a Cyberpunk dystopia
