@eniko On one hand, it's not best practice for food hygiene, and who knows what allergens are in it.
On the other hand, free candy.

@hannu_ikonen For each new death metal band, I have to check if they're nazis or not.
Usually they're not, because I don't consciously fish in that pond.
But always worried about it.
I'd be fine with nazis getting banned from music altogether. Safest for everyone.
@breadandcircuses It really is just purely a smokescreen so people don't focus on the raw basics.
How much of each fossil fuel gets mined worldwide each year?
Only when that number starts to drop does it look like we're taking effective climate action.
Moving emissions elsewhere, fake offsets, numbers of non-fossil fuel generation capacity, electrifying things...
None of that addresses that we need to stop burning fossil fuels.
Nothing clever, just stop.
@AnarchoNinaWrites I've seen a lot of the factional literature which people in specific christian denominations fill their homes with.
It's words on pages, but it's drivel.
If you've never been able to read outside that bubble, though, it seems fine.
For most kids, the only escape from that silo is a public library. Because they can just walk in, grab a book and read it.
It's absolutely vital that this service exists.
@AnarchoNinaWrites So, which one of these two is not a right wing talking points dispenser?
Having trouble telling the difference.
@mekkaokereke When a random unknown black guy becomes a felon, lots of people are sure he must be an awful person.
When a certain specific awful person gets a 34-count conviction, he gets more money thrown at him.
It's hard to believe this game is fair, when they make it so obvious.
@AnarchoNinaWrites I'm never, ever going to forget "legally killed child".
Very mask-off phrasing, there.
"It's okay to kill those children over there, because..."
No, fuck off.
@hannu_ikonen People absolutely need to know that nowhere is going to be safe.
Non-survivable heatwaves, tornadoes, flood-inducing rains, long droughts, hail bombardments, all of that will happen in more places than ever before.
And you can definitely say that some things will happen more often in some places, but non-survivable weather hitting only once every three years or so still makes it hard to stay alive.
@stux I've played first-in-genre games which are now so obscure, people only know of the game which popularized the genre.
It's definitely a weird feeling how much has become purely historical.
The moment 256-colour graphics were new. The moment multi-channel audio was new. The moment floppies stopped being used for most things (still used for some! WHY!?)
What else will simply disappear into the past? And will this be before floppies go away or after?
What about fax machines?
@blogdiva Expat really does mean "migrant but not one of those".
Never seen a good case that it means anything else.
While dialysis is still not available in #Gaza , medical staff now report they don't have supplemental oxygen anymore so people who need it can just fucking choke to death.
Most moral army making sure the atrocities are as horrible as they can be.
There is only one party blocking fuel, food, medical supplies to Gaza. It's not complex.
This is what #genocide looks like.
@futurebird 100 million years of evolution has lead to perfecting naps as the sole source of sleep.
@StillIRise1963 Desmond Tutu said, "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."
@AnarchoNinaWrites Honestly impressed that someone can get Gargron to actually do something.
You know it's bad when even he thinks it's getting too much.
@AnarchoNinaWrites Did I hallucinate all the times you called what's going on in Gaza genocidal?
If so, it's my most consistent hallucination so far.
Seriously, pretending you're attacking her over that is not even a good attempt.
@jeffowski People willing to pay for their principles should be much more common than it is.
@AnarchoNinaWrites Part of this failure to call them fascists is that they're afraid of sounding hyperbolic.
Which is a very strange fear for an American to have.
@AnarchoNinaWrites Look, I know you're fearing for the life of yourself and people you care deeply for, but what about my mild sense of discomfort when I read your words?
-- shitlibs, probs
@AnarchoNinaWrites A pro-cop anarchist is an oxymoron.
The oxy might be superfluous.
@AnarchoNinaWrites Well, why would you use readily available manuals or contact extant anti-fascist groups?
No, this wheel needs to be invented anew!
