Lol, absolutely not here for liberals who walked us off the cliff edge telling me "now the work begins.":

Tell it to the cracker suburbanite fascists you love to hug so much. You folks are gonna be just fucking fine; me and mine might die. You're not running shit anymore.

      Oh, LOL.

      What "work"???

Liberals are now totally irrelevant to the political process of the major parties. They won't even last 2 minutes after the ConservaDems blow them out; more than likely they re-adjust further to the Right like their conservative brethern and attempt to win more racists/fascists/wingnuts to their side.

The Titanic is officially sank, and it's not coming back up. You tried & failed, liberals; go back to your brunches and let a real Left take over.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Yeah, we saw in 2016 that the "now the work begins" crowd goes back to keeping their heads down and ignoring everything going on in less than a month. The people who will be doing anything are those who were already involved, or a few of those who are currently in a state of panic. Everyone wants to cosplay as part of the resistance on the internet though.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Same feels. I had to block some folks today for blaming BIPOC folks for the US election results. No. I ain't having that nonsense.

@AnarchoNinaWrites they’ve had years, hell, *decades* to “do the work”. All they’ve done is fiddle with tax credits, suck up to billionaire donors, punch hippies, and use hashtags in posts. Newsflash: people are anxious, frustrated with shambolic institutions, and deeply vulnerable to manipulation. All the insistence that everything is fine and the system works did less than shit.

@justafrog @PhoenixSerenity It's the candidate's job to get elected. Blaming people for not voting for "genocide, hugging it out with the Cheneys, we love cops actually and lets build more prisons for migrants" is fundamentally misunderstanding the JOB of running for office. But what else is new, liberals have no idea what they're talking about despite being pretty sure they're the only ones who know anything because NBC told them so.

@PhoenixSerenity @AnarchoNinaWrites Already saw how, and this will surprise everyone *so* much, it was white people again.

Blaming others for not saving them hard enough sure is an interesting take.

@auditorydamage Trump got the exact same number of votes he got last time; the country didn't go fash or at least it didn't go any more fash than in 2020 when Biden won.

Biden ran on ending the forever wars, reigning in police violence, dismantling the migrant carceral state, and punishing Nazis; turned out 81M voters. Harris and Clinton ran on hugging Nat Sec ghouls, Russia, we love cops, fascist immigration policies, and hugging nazis; lost. It's that simple. It really is that simple.
