@talksina @network I will see how much work it is to implement the "Read More" feature.

@talksina @network there is no "read more" support yet. the plugin currently only uses the excerpt as a summary and sends the full content and the summary to the fediverse, so that the platform can decide what to show.

@talksina @NickBohle @docpop @_elena I will block some time tomorrow to write a small explenation about what the "WordPress Post Formats" setting is doing and why I think that it has the biggest potential. It is still not perfect, but with lots of feedback it can might be the best way to go without all the templating overhead.

@andypiper good point, thanks for the info. I'll ping the Jetpack people tomorrow to find out why this might have happened.

@kiko you are right "reply on the fediverse" works only on comments, but I have nothing for the form! Thanks for the feedback, will see how I can have it there too!

@japipes always use the version from the WordPress.org repo, so that it will be updated with every new version. If you are using ClassicPress or any other special fork, you could also install it through composer.

@japipes but isn't there a description behind "Media" in your settings?

Isn't that enough or can it be misunderstood?

@japipes it is off by default since some versions. Maybe you installed it before we changed it?!? What information might help you to decide what to enable and what not? We are always happy to improve things!

@cybeardjm there is a cache page in the repos wiki on GitHub, that lists some caching plugins that work nicely with ActivityPub.

@cybeardjm that‘s why it seems to work for you, because the follow process was already done. But maybe you had no new follows until then.

@cybeardjm receiving should not be the issue! Especially not for the Webmention plugin, because this works totally different. But following is always be an issue with caching that does not support content negotiation.

@cybeardjm I think WP Fastest Cache does not support content negotiation.
