I really appreciated the opportunity to take part in the first ever #FediverseHouse at #SXSW. Online connections are good, and then IRL connections deepen the trust. Thanks to the @Flipboard team for getting it together (and @surf is looking excellent, nice work!). Thanks to @swf for helping me to join the event. Many many individuals all made it a great in-person ideas jam. 2025 is looking strong for our communities.

#FediverseHouse it was fun hearing the term "FOAF" in a conversation earlier in the day, then searching back to 2003 to see when I was blogging about messing with that stuff. Turns out I've been doing social-related tech for way longer than I had thought about.

Incredible scenes as British Airways fail to deliver luggage due to no staff at their own terminal at Heathrow.

Well over an hour standing waiting around for a case, with no information, after a 14+ hour flight was exactly my expectation of “the world’s favourite airline” (!). @woutern @mellifluousbox @Mastodon @rightscon I will be on a panel hosted by the Social Web Foundation at RightsCon (and also, I will separately be speaking at a tech meetup in Taipei that week). Looks like there are plenty of social web related sessions, I hope to attend several.
