In Swedish, it was initially "Atomvapen" (Atom Weapons) and "Kärnkraft" (Nuclear Power), but in the 60s/70s, they first tried with "Atom Power, No Thanks!", but that didn't catch on, so later shifted to rename "Atomvapen" to "Kärnvapen", and hammering that term in over a generation, it was easier to convince people of "Nuclear Power, No Thanks" and in 1980, the Referendum was 3 choices, and all 3 was "Shut Them Down"
I live ~30km from a nuclear plant, that was closed ~20 years ago due to that referendum.
I still remember it being built in the early 1970s (my best friend's dad was part of construction crew) and back then (cheap oil) they said there was no point in using the excess heat, and instead just heat up the ocean, rather than hot water pipes to the nearby towns, which today would have been a massive benefit (district heating networks exist in all towns).
I noticed a "tax maneuver" that rich people do; 1. Have large asset, 2. No income = no tax 3. Take loan against that asset 4. Never pay back the loan, bank will take their share when you die.
Something else possible; 1. Inject a lot of capital (such as IP) into your firm as an interest-free loan. 2. Repay the loan over an extended period. 3. That is not income. 4. Create new chunk of capital (IP) out of thin air. 5. Goto 1
I don't think this has been tested in the supreme court in my country, but the way I read and interpret how the laws, rules and regulations are written, it seems legit.
Probably because war kills people and Wikipedia lists 55 on-going conflicts/wars (albeit many being dormant), and caring about each, like the leftists hates Israel would be a full-time effort.
I condemn both sides for the atrocities committed.
Do you condemn what Hamas did?
If not, you a) don't know history very well (i.e. indoctrinated) and b) unwilling to learn, and c) only interested in propagating hate of Israel.
I wonder if it is starting to make sense to have one's own search engine? Disk space is cheap, bandwidth has grown a lot. And if I know ahead of time what to not(!) index (porn, furries, fashion, food, ...) it doesn't seem like a bad idea.
