Niclas Hedhman (niclas@angrytoday.com)'s status on Monday, 25-Sep-2023 21:17:24 JST Niclas Hedhman @robby Yeah, 300 is nothing.
I wonder if it is starting to make sense to have one's own search engine?
Disk space is cheap, bandwidth has grown a lot. And if I know ahead of time what to not(!) index (porn, furries, fashion, food, ...) it doesn't seem like a bad idea.In conversation permalink -

~robby (robby@zoinks.one)'s status on Monday, 25-Sep-2023 21:17:25 JST ~robby #Kagi says that unless you are in the top 1% of search engine users by activity, you should be fine using their $5 for 300 searches a month. I decided to get the $10 unlimited tier so I could get a handle on how it works without worrying about running out of searches.
In just over 24 hours I have used just over 150 searches... I guess I am in the top 1% 🤣In conversation permalink
